Ten Years of Graham Turner

This mornings Hereford Times contains two articles about the Graham Turner era at Edgar Street. He celebrated his 500th game in charge last Saturday.

The first article is a review by Richard Prime entitled "Five Hundred and more to come" and the second is written by Graham Turner which covers his time so far at Hereford.

Turner's piece concludes with him revealing that in his opinion the biggest achievement is that the club is now financially stable.

"We are out of the CVA and have paid off a big overdraft - and as a club we can start to move forward whether it is with me at the helm or someone else.

"The club, apart from the uncertainy of the development, is in good shape."

Richard Prime also pays tribute to Turner. He suggests that while the Bulls are not yet back in the league, they are certainly better off than they were five years ago.

"The fact that the club is here at all is a testament to the hard work and effort put in over the years," Prime comments.

"Now, with the club in much better order, all supporters will be hoping that Turner's next 500 matches will see more success on the field returning."

The Hereford Times also prints a table of Turner results during his first 500 games: He has won 205, drawn 124 and lost 172 in all games. The goal talley is 732 for and 612 against.
