News Round Up

Stockport have signed Man City full back Shaleum Logan and Everton goalie John Ruddy on a months loan. Logan was previously on loan at Grimsby, and has played in the Carling Cup for his parent club. Ruddy had a previous loan at Stockport last season. Notts County defender Austin McCann has signed a pre-contract agreement with Scottish side Dunfermline.

Brentford have announced that the land for their proposed new stadium has been purchased. Developers Barratt Homes have bought the land to build the new ground before turning Griffin Park into housing. Rochdale goalkeeper Sam Russell will miss six weeks of the run-in with a broken finger. They will recall youngster Lloyd Rigby from loan to cover.

Peterboro defender Tom Williams has been banned for an additional two matches and fined for his recent sending off at Chesterfield. He admitted charges of abusing match officials and Chesterfield staff. Bournemouth's former boss Harry Redknapp will invest in the club to keep it alive, but FA rules will prevent him from being a major contributor until he quits management.
