Threlfall expected to start for Hereford tomorrow

Stockport County are on a run of six straight away wins and will be hoping to make it seven tomorrow at Edgar Street. On the other hand Hereford United will take stock after their disappointing performance at Dagenham last Tuesday and will be going all out to keep their promotion campaign on target.

The Bulls will be without defender Dean Beckwith through suspension for having amassed five yellow cards and manager Graham Turner will have to re-jig his defence. It is expected that Robbie Trelfall will be given a start tomorrow.

Also missing from the Hereford squad will be Toumani Diagouraga, Steve Guinan and Luke Webb.

For Stockport few, if any, changes are expected to their side which defeated Accrington Stanley 2-0 last Saturday.

"I am really looking forward to this game," said manager Jim Gannon as reported by the Manchester Evening News.

"It will be two really good football teams, young and skilful. There's pressure on them to beat us after they lost at Dagenham in midweek. Before that they had won five on the trot. I think there will be a lot of goals.

"It's very nice for the lads to be considering breaking any record. Away from home we've showed great spirit among the players and the fans who've followed us have shown a similar spirit."

Graham Turner will be hopefull of a return to winning ways.

"It is not going to be easy against Stockport but we must make sure that we don't lose two on the trot," Turner told the Worcester News.

"They are up there in the play-off places so we have to make sure that we are ready for them.

"We are at the business end of the season. There are no second chances and maybe there was that little bit of extra pressure on Tuesday when we had the chance to go top.

"We have to start again because we are at the stage where every point counts."

So a good game is in prospect which, hopefully, will draw the fans to come and watch.
