Several sources are reporting that former Forest Green Rovers captain Darren Jones is in talks with Hereford United over a move to Edgar Street.
"I have had some good times at Forest Green, but the time is right to move on and take up a new challenge," said Jones.
25 year old Jones, pictured, is a central defender who has played over 100 games for Forest Green.
His FGR profile says: Noted for his strong, hard tackling and powerful free kicks, Darren is a pillar of strength in the Rovers defence. A Welsh Non League international.
Meanwhile the Stockport Express are reporting that the Bulls are also tracking Michael Rose. He has already had talks with Swindon and Morecambe with Hartlepool also interested.
