Very Pleased with Three Points - Trewick

In his post match interview with BBC Hereford and Worcester, Bulls manager John Trewick said he was very pleased with getting three points from this afternoon's game with Darlington but disappointed with not keeping a clean sheet.

"We made it difficult for ourselves in the second half, didn't control the game as much as we could have done and leaked a goal.

"We know what we want to try and achieve before the half-way stage and that includes keeping clean sheets.

"I think going forward we looked very good at times and got in behind them, down the sides, balls across the box, people into goal scoring positions.

"We scored twice but on another day we might have got six.

"In the second half Mark Marshall had a great chance with a header at the far post and I thought it was a penalty at the end when he was tripped from behind.

"Delighted with the creative side of the game on times but we can't rely on creating as many chances every week as we did today."

Mathieu Manset partnered Craig King up front this afternoon.

"We've not been in a position to pick the same players very often and people haven't been able to develope partnerships. They are vital relationships.

"The longer we go on - Mathieu and Craig are here for the season - hopefully they will gel together and learn a little bit more about each other styles."

Trewick spoke about injuries.

"We've still got one or two. Darren Dennehy went down injuried at the end of the week. Ryan Green went down ill. Sam Gwynne came off with a dead leg."
