Swindon have extended the loans of ex-Bull Jake Jervis and midfielder Liam Ridehalgh until the end of the year, but have cancelled the contract of midfielder Ibrahim Atiku by mutual consent. The Ghanaian signed a two year deal in the summer but failed to make a first team debut for the Robins. Oxford have agreed a fee with Mansfield to sell striker Matt Green to the Conference side. The former Cardiff trainee has been on loan at Field Mill since the start of the season, scoring ten times in 17 games.

Port Vale manager Micky Adams has told midfielder Gary Roberts he will be sacked if his indiscipline resurfaces. The troubled former Crewe man was brought back into the first team picture on Tuesday after a month sidelined after missing training. Northampton have signed Chesterfield midfielder Derek Niven on a months loan. The 27 year old has played over 300 times for the Spireites since joining them as a teenager, but hasn't featured in their first team since August.
