We are delighted to announce that the Steering Group were last night given the mandate to form a Supporters Trust at Hereford United following an overwhelming vote in favour by a crowd of over 100 people. We can now look forward to building the Trust and helping our football club maintain sustainability.
It was great to see such a strong turn out of supporters who listened intently to presentations from Supporters Direct, trust members from Kidderminster and Newport and our our Steering Group. Ex-United player Gareth Davies proved a very popular, and passionate, contributor also. We are extremely grateful to all those who offered their time to be on the panel.
The hard work starts here.
We are very keen to hear from people interested in becoming a member of the Trust. Decisions will be made in due course about annual membership costs, but as we heard last night, it tends to be in the region of £5 -£10. Please log your interest in membership by email hufctrust@gmail.com
The next stage is to form a Working Group. For those not present last night, please email hufctrust@gmail.com if you feel you can offer your skills to the Working Group outlining what those skills/experiences are.
Once the Trust is properly registered with Supporters Direct we can look forward to a launch night, which we anticipate will be around the end of July.
Again, thank you for your support last night. Now we can move on and form the Trust with the help of Supporters Direct.
