Ex-Bull Watch

Former Bulls defender John Brough has spoken about his first senior managerial job at Bishops Cleeve.

The 40 year old has coached youth sides up to a brief spell as first team coach at Southend, before ending last season scouting for Everton's Academy, but will now step up to the top job at the Southern League side:

"I am really looking forward to cutting my teeth in the management game now. I've had a good grounding and learned from some very strong characters throughout my career and I am pleased to get this opportunity.

"I've always had a say, whether it's been taken on board or not and I think that's put me in good stead."

Elsewhere, Mathieu Manset has been strongly linked with a move to Wigan after he tweeted, then removed, messages linking him to the Championship club. The free agent striker was released by Carlisle earlier in the summer.

Meanwhile, former striker Yoann Arquin has been called up by Martinique in their 35 man preliminary squad for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. The French territory is not a member of FIFA, so cannot play in the World Cup, but is a member of the local federation and members of it's national side can also play for France.
