Serrell Calls On Kiddy Fans To Help The Bulls

Kidderminster chairman Mark Serrell has called on Harriers fans to travel to Edgar Street on New Years Day.

Having helped rescue his own club after they were hours from disaster, Serrell wants a good following to travel not only to support their team but to also swell the Bulls' coffers.

Serrell told their official site: "Obviously to have many, many hundreds of fans there at Hereford to support the team on New Year's Day would be fantastic and a great sight.

"But I also feel for Hereford and the situation they are in and I know many others do, too.

"A lot of people are working hard to turn things around there but it is far, far from easy so it would be fair to say that to have that number of Harriers fans paying to attend the match would also help in that respect.

"Every bit makes a difference and it would be great to see one our local sides come out of what is a troubled time and move forward again."

Bulls' chairman David Keyte, in his Saturday programme notes, hoped for 800 Harriers fans to turn up on Wednesday. 755 turned up at Edgar Street for last season's Boxing Day clash.
