Attendances just keep on falling

With just 323 ‘supporters’ going through the turnstiles to watch Hereford United lose 2-0 to Hungerford Town, it is the fourth game in a row that the attendance has fallen. Today's attendance is another record low for the Bulls, and numbers through the gates have already halved since the 2-1 bank holiday loss to Redditch United.

Supporters are querying how any of those 323 that went today actually paid. This morning, Sunshine Radio reported to have having spoken to manager Jon Taylor who had a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) up for grabs, but it’s unknown how many other complimentary tickets the club handed out. It has been suggested that the figure must have included all the staff present at Edgar Street this afternoon.

There was also no Twitter coverage of the game from the official account, and the club’s Facebook page has been inactive since the June 7th - 3 days before the club was expelled from the Conference.

Considering the freebies and free entry for u14s, with just 23 days left until the next high court appearance, supporters are still in the dark about the so-called investment that Andy Lonsdale reported to be ‘there’ on September 1st (link). The lack of news does leave everyone wondering whether the court will see reason to adjourn the case once again, or if the club has now miraculously received funds to settle the winding-up petition.

Another aspect that was meant to bear fruit after September 1st was a sponsor for the team's kit, but along with the news that the club’s social media side was going to improve and the development of an online shop, over a month after the Q&A was posted (link), it’s evident that these were just more lies that has come out of the club during the current regime’s reign.
