News Round-Up

Lincoln are facing a £150,000 loss this season due to lower than anticipated attendances, with chairman Bob Dorrian saying they are losing £3,000 a week. The Imps are hoping to bridge the gap with a FA Cup run, facing Alfreton in a replay on Tuesday night. The Reds have announced that they have only 11 fit players for the tie - and no goalkeeper. Both the club's first team stoppers are injured and the FA have refused them dispensation to sign another.

Kidderminster say they will continue to display a paid advertising board at Aggborough for UKIP after protests from fans. A club statement says that any political party can pay for advertising, with the local MP and MEPs previously paying for advertising. Truro have signed Ed Palmer from Weymouth after the former Torquay man, 22, struggled to get regular games after picking up a three match ban.

Southern League Division One Central side Daventry Town are to hold an EGM on Thursday after slashing two thirds from their playing budget. Just eight of their squad have agreed to continue playing with several having already left along with a coach. Daventry currently sit 11th in the table, and were beaten at home in front of 112 spectators at the weekend, having finished fourth last season.

Paulton Rovers have signed Cirencester captain Shayne Aston. The versatile defender led Cirencester to the Div 1 S&W title last season. Paulton have allowed midfielder Josh Klein-Davies to join Frome Town with the former Bristol Rovers man unhappy at a lack of games.
