Tonbridge Manager Annnoyed After Tuesday's Loss

Tonbridge manager Steve McKimm was visible annoyed after his side were defeated 5-3 by Merstham last Tuesday evening.

"I'm frustrated, I'm annoyed," said McKimm.

Tonbridge were also beaten by Bognor in the Ryman League last Saturday. Before then they had taken 20 points from 8 games.

On Saturday they play Hereford FC in the FA Cup.

"They've got to look at earning some money for the club and putting two wrongs right on Saturday.

"It's going to be a massive game, a tough game because they are on a good run.

"When you play teams on a good run and you're not doing your best it could dampen it even more.

"Saturday I've got to do a lot of hard work before now and then to get it right."

Player Sonny Miles was also interviewed. He was asked what he knew about Hereford.

"I'll be honest I don't know much about them.

"I know they play equivalent to a league below us but they remind me a little bit of Wimbledon.

"They've reformed and they're coming up.

"You've just got to look at those old Wimbledon teams and what they were like.

"So if they are anything like the quality that they had we are going to have to be on our A game to get through.

"It's the magic of the Cup. Anything can happen.

"But they are normally good entertaining games.

"Hopefully we'll come through on the right side of it."
