For the second season running Hereford FC have decided not to take part in the Southern League Cup.
Manager Peter Beadle feels there is not enough prize money to warrant taking part.
"It's not being disrespectful to the competition, but it's not a priority for us," Beadle told the Hereford Times.
Meanwhile former Hereford United player Gavin Williams has accepted a new two year deal to manage Merthyr Town.
