As reported earlier on BN,  Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle has signed Keyon Reffell from Merthyr.

Assistant manager Steve Jenkins will know the player well as he signed him from Kidderminster whilst in charge at Merthyr.

"I’m really delighted to bring Keyon in. He’s extremely versatile and will add quality, pace, and drive to the group," Beadle told the OS.

Born in October 1990, Reffell was a Cardiff City trainee.

He joined Afan Lido, then moved to Carmarthen in January 2014. Next was a move to Port Talbot in July 2014.

Kidderminster signed him in January 2015 but he was released the following December. Whilst with Kiddy he had a spell on loan at Halesowen.

He then joined Merthyr in January in 2016 and played in a pre-season friendly for them at Edgar Street in July 2016.

In that game he scored in front of the Meadow End.

One of his last games for Merthyr was in the Southern League play-offs at Hitchin.

'Hitchin were under severe pressure and Merthyr played some excellent football with Keyon Reffell their most dangerous player.'

The game went to penalties and Reffell took one but it was saved.
