"Very disappointed with ourselves today," Molesley told BBC Solent.
"Hard to find many positives.
"Fair play to Hereford they're a strong, good side.
"Whilst we were poor by our standards we did have some very good chances in the game.
"The missed penalty, first half Brandon (Goodship) has put one over from a great position and second half their goalkeeper has made three or four great saves including the penalty."
Molesley was asked if his keeper should have stopped Hereford's first goal.
"The first goal was very, very soft. Completely avoidable. A bit of a mix-up.
"We're a young side and we've got to grow up quickly."
