We've Got A Competitve Squad Said Beadle

During his post match interview after the game at Weymouth, Hereford manager Peter Beadle praised his players and in particular the depth of his squad.

"We've got some good players here, we've said that all along.

"We've got a squad that's competitive. Pablo and Bird have travelled down today and missed out today and Dan Preston wasn't here today and Jamie Molyneux wasn't here today and they are all fit.

"That's the sort of squad we want but the tough part is keeping everybody happy.

"The boys that have travelled all this way to Weymouth and not been involved in the 16 but hopefully they'll understand that's part of the squad.

"We need to make sure that everyone stays fit and hungery and make sure everyone knows that at some point in the season they all have a part to play.

"We said it last year and the year before so if we are going to continue what we are doing and keep the momentum going that we have got at the moment we need everybody to be on board.

"One or two looked a bit tired today so we may look to change it a bit on Wednesday.

"As we saw with the first six games of the season we had so many players out with injuries but we only lost one game. That shows the depth of the squad that we've got.

"Now everyone is coming back people are looking at it and saying they've got all those players on the bench and four that didn't even play today but we need that stength in depth because as the season goes on people get injured, suspensions, people look tired and we need to change it.

"So we need players fresh and ready to come in with the same attitude as the ones that have been playing today and last week."

Any update on another keeper?

"The update is we've still not got one so that's your update!"

Finally today's referee.

"I said to him after the game I thought he did really well first half but as well as he did first half he was equally as poor second half.

"What can you do? There's no point you can't change his decisions. Somtimes you get it like that, sometimes you don't. We've coped with it and got on with it.

"I thought our players did well to maintain their focus and not get involved with it, or on his case a little bit.

"As long as we win I don't care."
