Beadle Delighted With Nine Goals and Two Clean Sheets

After Tuesday's 4-0 over St Ives Town, Hereford manager Pete Beadle spoke to the local press.

"First half I thought we were excellent, we carried on from Saturday," Beadle told BBC HW's Keith Hall.

"We were bright and moved the ball really well, it took little while to get the first goal but Ty got that with a header from a corner. After that we were in control, and when teams come and out five across the back line it was always going to be tough to break down.

"But once we got the second and third the game was done. We kept and moved the ball really well, and on other day maybe a couple of goals more.

"Nine goals in two games and two clean sheets - we're more than delighted."

Tyrone Duffus has impressed during his two games at Edgar Street so far, but he came off in the second half with a calf injury.

"A little niggle, we'll see how he is on Thursday. Coming out of 23's football, he's had two games in four days and he's played ever so well in both of them.

"Hopefully nothing too serious, but we'll see."

Jimmy Oates started as Ryan Green served a one match ban, and Adam Page came on in the second half for Garyn Preen.

"It's important we use all the players as much as we can, it's difficult at times. The last two games him and Jamie [Bird] have had a bit of game time, and we've got Jimmy [Oates] back in today.

"Mike [Symons] is ticking along nicely, and came on and scored a really good goal second half. It's just trying to balance it and make sure everyone is up to speed.

"Everyone is doing fine, and apart from one or two niggly things, hopefully we'll have a full bill of health very soon."
