News Round Up

Gosport Borough's manager has told the Portmouth News that he thinks the new faces he's brought in have given his side a boost.
After having their transfer embargo lifted last week, Borough picked up their first win of the season on Saturday against Dorchester.

Only a limited number of tickets are left for the home end when Slough Town entertain League One Rochdale in the FA Cup second round. They will be on sale to fans ahead of next Tuesday's game against Redditch.

The Just Giving page for cash-strapped Merthyr Town has now reached over £15,000. Former Cardiff City defender Danny Gabbidon and Hollywood star Michael Sheen are among those to have donated towards their £25k target to cover an outstanding tax bill.

The manager of Fleetwood Town, who Hereford will face in the FA Cup, has admitted this is his most challenging time at the club to date. Uwe Rossler's side lost 4-2 to Walsall midweek, saying it's important everyone 'stays together'.

After he suffered harrowing facial injuries earlier in the season (link), Tiverton Town are set to host a pay what you want match to raise funds for striker Jordan Rogers. The match against Willand Rovers will take place at Ladysmead on December 12.
